How Do Factories Cause Air Pollution ?

Factories are one of the biggest contributors to global warming in several different ways. All factories are into some or the other kind of production. They may be making medicines, rubber, power or anything that is used by the consumer industry.

In the process of making finished goods, there are raw materials that are used. While using these raw materials, they heat and burn chemicals which leads to gaseous emissions. These emissions are nothing but toxic waste that ends up contaminating the environment. These emissions are released from air vents and chimneys into the air in the form of smoke. The smoke forms a smog cloud in the sky. The smog takes a very long time to disintegrate and even if it does, it still pollutes the air.

Factories release this kind of smoke on an everyday basis. They produce finished products every single day to meet consumer demands and in the process cause severe environmental pollution. Some of the biggest industries that cause pollution are plastic manufacturing units, pharmaceutical units, chemical production factories, power plants, and dyeing industry. Among these, power plants rank number one because they directly burn huge volumes of coal, and release the pollutants directly into the air.

Pharmaceutical industries contaminate water more than air, but eventually the pollutants reach the air through the water. Over all they cause global warming and raise the temperature of the earth. Environmentalists claim that in the last two centuries the earth's temperature has been reset to a much higher temperature than it used to be, and the main factors contributing to this are industries and factories which have come in plenty after the Industrial Revolution.

How-Does-Air-Pollution-Affect-Global-Warming      Air pollution is a cause for global warming and the latter is the after effect of the former. Air pollution is caused every single day and over a period of time it heats up the atmosphere, and generally increases the temperature of the earth. The term global warming means the earth is getting to be a warmer place to live in. More..
