To be precise, the media has developed the phrase “Tornado Alley” to mention regions that have most frequent number of tornadoes. Although there are numerous thoughts pertaining to Tornado Alley, but those thoughts are the effects of the diverse standards used to cite it.

In the United States, the Tornado Alley locations are from Texas, northward through Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and into South Dakota. States to the east of this country also get powerful tornadoes, but they do not take place with the same rate as they do in states to the west.

In reality, none of the nations are completely free of tornadoes. But they are quite recurrent in the Plains region connecting the Rocky and Appalachian Mountains and in the land of Florida. The nations which experience tornadoes quite frequently include Texas. This is particularly because of its dimension and the area where tornadoes can happen. If the ground area is taken into consideration, Florida has the maximum frequency of tornado events in the nation. On the other hand, nearly all of Florida's tornadoes are feeble, short spanned and not formed by super cell thunderstorms that initiate from cumulonimbus clouds. Oklahoma has the maximum frequency of these types of typical super cellular tornadoes. Comparatively, the Northeast and West are likely to be the least tornado-prone regions in the United States.
