Soon after that, Japan experienced another earthquake of 7.2 magnitude which generated a number of major landslides and blocked all major road areas. Soon the government rushed to help all the affected people and rescue teams were sent to take care of the injured inhabitants.
The earthquake took over 150 aftershocks, distorted roads, including one highway that was disengaged when a portion of ground distorted, resulting it into an abrupt falling off. Moreover, trains were stopped in majority of the county whilst personnel assured the security of the tracks.
In numerous remote cities, hundreds of populace who got stuck on deformed roads waited for more than 12 hours after the earthquake occurred to get help from rescuers.
Although, majority of the damages were insignificant but none were life intimidating. The tremors led to powerful trembling for around 40 seconds in several parts of northern Japan. The harm from the earthquake was extremely negligible.
Few sources believe that 131 people were wounded and only 16 were critically injured. Though, a 6.8 magnitude earthquake can lead to rigorous injury, however this tremble induced less injuries because it struck in a thinly inhabited state of Japan. People of Japan felt lucky to survive through such a high magnitude earthquake. Although the tremor was great but it hit a place where the population was not that dense.
