974 England - It is alleged that, this earthquake was experienced in all the parts of England. It is speculated that several domiciles collapsed and many people were killed. However, no other details are available regarding this earthquake.

4 August 1133 England - This earthquake was reported as having devastated majority states of England. An inquisitive explanation subsists where the ships of the king on the south coast was stimulated by an unidentified strength. Most probably, the epicenter of this earthquake was in the west or south of England.

15 April 1185 E England - This is the first earthquake with detailed records of injuries pertaining to it. It is speculated that this earthquake poorly smashed the Lincoln cathedral. Evidently, this was one of the most critical and vicious earthquakes in Britain during that particular phase. Although the highest strength of this earthquake is uncertain, it is considered to be at least 8.

The harm to Lincoln cathedral has made this earthquake to be qualified as having a Lincolnshire epicenter; however it is not at all true.

20 February 1247 Wales - This earthquake was one of the most intense earthquakes which impacted the British Isles. It is believed that this earthquake led to a massive destruction and smashed the cathedral at St David's, Pembroke shire. Some sources also add that it was experienced in Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Just like the other cases, here also the epicenter is not known. Taking into account that the destruction was massive and widespread, and the tremors were felt in four British Isles nations, this was most likely one of the leading British earthquakes in history.
