The ozone layer is located nearly 10 kilometers above the Earth. The stratosphere is completely filled with the ozone layer, and it extends from 10 kilometers to 50 kilometers above the earths surface. There are three layers of atmosphere above the Earth, and the stratosphere is the highest.
