Type Of Pollution

There are many different types of pollution which can be caused by gases, liquids, noise, particulate matter, light, heat or even solids. All these pollutants give rise to different types of pollution in their own way. Sometimes, some types of chemicals are present naturally in the environment. However, due to human activities, the amount of the chemicals increase, and it is then that the chemicals become dangerous for humans, animals and plants.

Cause Of Soil Pollution

When the soil loses its structure and biological as well as chemical characteristics it is called soil pollution or soil contamination. This is due to man made chemicals, natural changes of the soil and environment. This is more prominent in the more developed countries like the US and the UK. It is less in developing countries.Due to the use of fertilizers and chemicals, changes of salinity of the soil are the main effect.
