These acidic particles are absorbed from the environment, and they contaminate the environment by raining. The normal behavior of rain is to clean the atmosphere. However, because of the high levels of pollution these days, the environment is getting more polluted when it rains.

This phenomenon is prevalent in arid and dry sub humid regions of the world where human activities and climatic changes have led to desertification.The wet and dry forests in the tropics are being denuded due to overpopulation.
